Bleach Boy Baby

This one is special. I’ve known BLEACH for a few years now and I’ve always felt that spark coming from him. The progression has been crazy though. He and his team Scope and T (producer and visuals) are some of the most consistent creators in the game out here in SD. Running a San Diego clothing brand feels so easy when there’s energy like BLEACH involved. Keep scrolling to see the interview we shot together where we dive deep into the struggles that crafted his strength.

How It Happened

As the owner of an independent streetwear company in California, grit is the number one thing I look for in anyone I partner with. As BLEACH explained, when he wanted to start making music he didn’t have a budget for beats or studio time. Instead of giving up or asking for handouts, he did some of the realest shit I’ve heard in a while. Bleach was on the grind sorting through thrift stores coming up with designer clothes that he offered in exchange for studio time from a producer he knew at the time. Not only was BLEACH able to drive 40 minutes out to Scope’s crib back then just to work on his craft, but the two of them are now releasing full projects with a sound not quite like anything I’ve heard before. All of his trials and tribulations are expressed in his music that you can listen to by clicking RIGHT HERE.
